Lions, Tigers and Bears. Oh My!

My last day in Illinois. Heading back to the Chicago Area.

Left motel around 11 a.m.

Even though the Lincoln Zoo was on the north outskirts of the city, there was so much traffic. I found out why. Skrillex was playing in the city.

Got to the zoo around 2ish. The parking was $$ but the zoo itself was free so it's not bad at all.

For a free zoo, this zoo was fairly big in size. It had popular animals like lions, tigersand bears. Oh my! Zebras, camels, polar bears, sloths, bugs, lizards, amphibians, seals... you get the picture.

Enjoyed the zoo until it closed, then it was off to the airport to go home.

I loved the Windy City. Lots of great things to do, eat and see! The people who lived there were nice and helpful. I wish I could stay and explore longer but I'll come back!
